Document What is the difference between excess baggage and supersized baggage?

Prebooked supersize baggage is baggage allowance that you book if you are going to check in baggage. It can be purchased online from creation of booking, anytime after confirmation or up to 4 hours before your flight.

Excess baggage is defined as baggage weight exceeding the prebooked checked baggage limit of up to 40kg for both AirAsia and AirAsia X flight. Please check our fee schedule for a list of prices for pre-booked and excess baggage http://www.airasia.com/my/en/our-fares/fees-and-charges.page?
