If I am part of a group booking but want to upgrade myself to Business Class on AirAsia X flights, how do I do this?
Once you have split your booking and obtained the new booking reference number, you can then process this yourself with instant confirmation via Manage My Booking. Log in as a member and retrieve your flight. Click on 'Modify' and select 'Upgrade' in the left column.
If you upgrade from Economy to Business Class with or without date change, the change fee of RM140 and the fare difference from Economy to Business Class are applicable.
Please note that upgrades are subject to availability. To ensure you don't miss out, remember to purchase Business Class seats when you make your next booking!
There are three other ways to upgrade to our premium flat-bed:
1. Upgrade upon check-in or onboard your flight for RM400 on Nepalese routes, RM700 on Australian routes and RM500 on all other AirAsia X routes
2. Sign up for the AirAsia-Citibank Platinum Visa Credit Card. Simply present your card at the AirAsia X Service counter and you will be upgraded instantly for free! For more details, click here http://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-cards/airasia/platinum_air.htm
3. Subscribe for the Upgrade Travel Option (UTo) with Optiontown to stand a chance of being upgraded at a nominal fee. (For more details, click here http://www.airasia.com/my/en/inflight-comforts/optiontown-upgrade-travel-option.page
