1. What is Red Carpet Service?
As the name suggests, this is an exclusive service provided by AirAsia to any guest who has purchased this service either online or at the check in counters. A dedicated team who will ensure a speedy, professional, courteous and friendly service to these guests.

2. When will it be effective?
The effective date for guest purchasing this service over the counter is 1st December 2011 and for prebooked service it will be available on 15th December 2011.
Red Carpet Service is only applicable for all AirAsia flights departing from Kuala Lumpur LCCT and selected airport.

3. What is the charge for this service?

4. Is Red Carpet Service charged per guest or per booking?
Red Carpet Service is charged on per guest per segment/sector

5. Are there any discounts for children (under 12 years old) or infants?
Children will have to pay for this service, charges at the applicable rate; however, infants will be given a complimentary service.

6. Is this service available at all airports?
No, currently this service is only available at selected airports as stated below:
Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Singapore, Bali and Jakarta.

7. What are the benefits?

  3. Free counter check-in (Counter Check-In fee is waived)
  4. Lounge access at selected airports
  5. Buggy service *only available at Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta and subject to availability and distance to the aircraft parking bay
