Waiver of the JPY1000 check-in fee for domestic flights in Japan effective 20th December 2012
1.What is a Counter Check-In fee?
It is a fee payable for those that do not use our self check-in services and checks in at the airport counter.
2.When is AirAsia Japan abolishing this fee?
The fee will be abolished from 20th December 2012 at 0001am (GMT+9)
3.I booked my flight before 20th December 2012 for travel on or after this date, will this fee be refunded back to me?
Yes you will get a full refund for this fee. You will however not be refunded the Counter Check In Fee for your previous bookings made for travel before 20th December 2012.
4.How do I request for a refund?
We will process a refund for all guests that have pre-booked this fee for flights on or after 20th December 2012.
AirAsia Japan will send a notification to guests once the refund has been processed.
5.How will I get my refund?
The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment when you purchased the booking.
If the payment is made by credit card, the refund will be credited to your card.
If the payment is made by direct debit, cash, or through a travel agent, please complete our online e-form.

6.How long will it take to get my refund?
It will take 90 working days from the time you receive the notification that your refund will be processed.
