NEW Payment Partners for Philippines - Effective 23rd January 2013
Effective 21st February 2013, cash payment can be made at Cebuana Lhuillier and 7-eleven branches.
Effective 23rd January 2013, Payment Partners option (Bayad Centre branch ONLY) is available for flights departing from Philippines.
What is Payment Partners option?
Payment Partners option provides guests the convenience of paying their online purchases and/or flight booking in cash at any Cebuana Lhuillier, Bayad Centre or 7-eleven branches nationwide in the Philippines. This ONLY applies to guests on domestic flights in the Philippines, or guests on international flights originating from the Philippines.
Can I choose Payment Partners option for any online booking or purchases?
No, this option is only available for domestic and international flights departing from Philippines (Clark International Airport). Also, the date of your selected flights must be more than 5 days from the day you make your booking.
If I have selected Payment Partners option during online booking, where do I go to make the cash payment?
You can make the cash payment at any Cebuana Lhuillier, Bayad Centre or any 7-eleven branch nationwide in the Philippines.
If I choose Payment Partners option, can I pay in any currency?
No, payment currency is in Philippines Peso (PHP) only.
Are there any additional charges if I pay via Payment Partners?
Yes. To avail of the convenience of paying cash via Payment Partners, a service fee of P120 per guest will be collected. This amount, however, is already included in the online booking and will not be separately collected from you when you go to any of our Payment Partners branches.
If I am making Fly-Thru booking departing from another city with transit in Philippines, can I pay via Payment Partners?
No, this option is not applicable for Fly-Thru bookings.
If I selected Payment Partners during online booking but did not proceed with the cash payment, can I make a new booking for the same flight?
Yes, you may do so and pay via other payment options provided in our website.
If I forgot to write down the payment reference number, how can I retrieve the information so I can proceed with the cash payment?
An email notification with your payment reference number will be sent to your registered email address which you provided during online booking.
How much time do I have to make my cash payment via Payment Partners option and how will I get my confirmed e-ticket or flight booking?
You are required to make cash payment within 24 hours from the time you made an online booking or when you have received your payment reference number via an e-mail notification.The booking expiry time is displayed when you select the Payment Partners option online.
After cash payment has been made, your e-ticket which you will use when boarding and checking in at the airport will be immediately emailed to you.
Can I make partial payment with Payment Partners option?
No, you are required to pay the full amount indicated in your online booking.
Can I use the payment receipt from Cebuana Lhuillier, Bayad Centre or 7-eleven branches as an airline ticket for boarding?
No, it is not a valid travel ticket. An itinerary (e-ticket) will be sent to your registered e-mail once the booking is updated with payment complete.
Can I request for refund?
Yes and it will be covered by our existing refund terms & conditions.
If I have paid for a booking via Payment Partners, which type of booking payment do I select when requesting for a refund?
Please select ‘Payment Partners’. You will need to provide your bank account details in order for the refund to be processed.
I have paid via Payment Partners before, but the option isn’t there anymore. Why can’t I opt to pay via Payment Partners?
You may have selected the flights within five (5) days of departure which is no longer covered by our Payment Partners. To enjoy the convenience of our cash payment service, please book flights not less than five days from the date of your departure.
I have booked and paid for my flight via Payment Partners, I would now like to add baggage/meals/pick a seat. Can I still add this?
Yes you can, you may go to Manage My Booking on www.airasia.com for these add-ons. However, you won’t be able to pay for these add-ons at the counter or via Payment Partners; you will have to pay for these additional online purchases using your credit card online. Please use the booking reference number given in the e-ticket sent to your e-mail.
I want to book a flight for [tomorrow – or in the next 5 days] and want to pay via Payment Partners but the option is not available.
Sorry, Payment Partners is only available for online purchases and booking made more than five (5) days before flight departure. However, you may still proceed with your booking and pay via credit card or other payment options as indicated in our website.
I don’t have an existing booking yet, can these Payment Partners create my reservation?
No, the branches only accept cash payments for those with payment reference number which is available only after you have made your flight booking on our website.
Can I make last minute changes on my booking through Payment Partners?
No, you will need to go to Manage My Booking on www.airasia.com to make any changes. Any additional charges will have to be paid online using a credit card. Please use the booking reference number given in the e-ticket sent to your e-mail.
