Document Can I bring back Zam Zam water with me on AirAsia flights?

For our guests who have recently performed the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimages, the following guidelines apply if you plan to carry Zam Zam water as part of your luggage:

Passengers are only allowed to purchase and check-in 1 (one) 5 (five) liter box of ZAMZAM WATER.

CABIN BAGGAGE NON-ACCEPTANCE
Unless carried in containers contains a capacity not greater than 100 ml, or equivalent in other volumetric measurements with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 litre.
 
ACCEPTANCE AS CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
The 5 liter ZAMZAM water which is sold in the airport must be packed in a manufactured packaging provided by the Saudi Airport Authority. No other types of packaging is allowed.
 
The ZAMZAM water must not be removed from the manufactured packaging and repacked or the ZAMZAM water poured into other plastic containers.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
ZAMZAM water will be accepted as checked-in baggage (not exceeding the free 1 box of 5 liters given to each pilgrim) at no extra charge.

Additional box of 5 liter ZAMZAM water will be subject to excess baggage charges.

BAGGAGE IRREGULARITIES
AirAsia is not liable for delay, loss or damage of ZAMZAM water and/or containers.
a) Containers containing ZAMZAM water must be in manufactured packaging.
