NEW Other Payment option for Japan domestic and international flights - Effective 23rd January 2013
Effective 23rd January, Other Payment option is available for flights departing from Japan.
1.What does ‘Other Payment’ means?
It means that you can make payment via selected Convenience Store, ATM and Internet Banking.
2.Can I choose Other Payment option for any flight booking?
No, this option is only available for domestic and international flights departing from Japan.
3.If I pay by ATM and Internet Banking, which banks should I use?
Please refer to the list given when you select the Payment options.
4.If I choose Other Payment option, can I pay in any currency?
No, payment currency is in Japanese Yen (JPY).
5.Is there any additional charge if I choose to pay via Other Payment?
Yes, you will be subjected to a fee of JPY420 per pax per itinerary.
6.Can I use Cash to pay via ATM?
Yes, but only limited banks. You can also pay via Cash Card or you MUST have a Bank account on the bank that you have selected.
7.If I selected ‘Other Payment’ but did not proceed with payment, can I create a new booking for the same flight?
No, as the booking has been created and put on hold, pending for payment. The airline reservation system does not allow the same passenger to book the same flight.
8.If I do not write down the payment reference no, where can I retrieve the information for payment?
An email notification with payment reference no will be sent to the registered email address used during the booking
9.How much time do I have to make my payment before the booking is released?
You are required to make payment within 24 hours from the booking time. The booking expiry time is displayed and indicated when you select the convenience store payment.
10.Why can’t I make payment at 7-Eleven outlets?
Payment at 7-Eleven is not available but you can pay at others convenience stores namely Lawson, Family Mart, Sunkus, Circle K, etc (list of brands will be provided)
11.Can I make partial payment at the convenience store counter?
No, you are required to make full payment to the total amount shown due in your booking.
12.Can I use the payment receipt from convenience store as an airline ticket for boarding?
No, as that is not a valid travel ticket. An itinerary (e-ticket) will be sent to your registered e-mail once the booking is updated with payment complete.
13.Can I request for refund?
Yes, subject to our existing refund terms & conditions applied.
14.I have paid through the convenient store/ATM/online banking option before, but the option isn’t there anymore. Why is it so? And how can I pay via convenient store/ATM/online banking?
You may have selected the flights within 7 days of departure. These options are not available; they are only available for flights more than 7 days of departure.
15.I have booked and paid for my flight at the convenient store/ATM/online banking, and I would like to add baggage/meals/pick a seat. Can I still add this? And how?
Yes you can, just can go to Manage My Booking for these add-ons. However, you won’t be able to pay for these add-ons at the convenient store/ATM/online banking; you will have to pay for these add-ons using credit card
16.I want to book and select a flight for [tomorrow – next 7 days] and want to pay via convenient store/ATM/online banking. But the option is not showing.
Sorry, for payment via convenient store/ATM/online banking the booking MUST be made more than 7 days before flight departure. However, you can still pay for a booking that is made within 7 days before flight departure via other payment options available
Please note that a Booking / PNR Number (Diagram A) and a Payment Number (Diagram B) are different. A Booking/PNR Number is used to check-in your flight, while a Payment Number is used for payment at the convenience store / ATM / via internet banking.
