Document Medical conditions / illnesses that do not require proof of medical certificate to fly

You do not need to show any medical certificate for any of the following medical conditions / illnesses provided your condition or injury is stable and you generally feel well:
  1. Paralysis
  2. Motor Neurone Disease
  3. Multiple Sclerosis
  4. Parkinson
  5. Allergies to certain food
  6. High blood pressure or high cholesterol
  7. Diabetes
  8. Blood disorders such as anaemia (provided no oxygen is required)
  9. Epilepsy (only if you have not had a seizure within 24 hours prior to your flight departure time)
  10. Arthritis
  11. Insect bites
  12. Minor injuries such as toe and finger injuries, twisted ankles, pulled muscles or small cuts
  13. Sunburn
  14. Hepatitis B or C
  15. Dengue fever
  16. Viral Meningitis
  17. Malaria
  18. Cholera (as long as the symptoms have settled, you are well enough to travel and the public health authority in the destination country allows travel)
  19. Hepatitis A (as long as you feel well enough to travel)
  20. Shingles (as long as the rash is not weeping or is covered)
  21. Yellow Fever (as long as you feel well enough to travel and the public authority in the destination country allows travel)
  22. Flu (as long as the symptoms have settled)
  23. A heart attack or angioplasty
  24. Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
  25. Stroke (CVA) or head injury
  26. Surgery on the heart, chest or abdomen
  27. Joint replacement or amputation

You also do not need to show any medical certificate for any of the following medical conditions / illnesses provided:
  1. It has occurred more than three (3) months prior to the applicable flight departure date
  2. You are stable and generally feel well
  3. You do not require oxygen during the flight
