Document Changes to Philippines Flights

Changes to Schedule of Philippine Flights
Why did AirAsia make these changes?
AirAsia has always taken great care in deciding cancellations or changes of flights to destinations that we service. Unfortunately, operational re-alignment have forced us to make these changes.

When will the changes take effect?
The changes are effective 15th June 2013.

What are the affected flights?
This operational realignment involves reducing frequencies on our Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Taiwan routes. We will also have timing changes on our Davao and Kalibo routes.

What options can I take if my flight is affected?
Affected guests on routes with reduced frequencies (international routes) may avail of the following options up to 48 hours before their original flight schedule:
One-time transfer, at no extra cost, to an AirAsia flight on the same route within 30 days of the original flight date (subject to availability); or
Conversion of the value of their total fare to an online credit shell with a validity of 90 days; or
Full refund

Affected guests on routes with time change (domestic routes) may avail of the following options up to 48 hours before their original flight schedule:
One-time transfer, at no extra cost, to an AirAsia flight on the same route within 30 days of the original flight date (subject to availability); or
Conversion of the value of their total fare to an online credit shell with a validity of 90 days

How do I get in touch with AirAsia to select my preferred option?
Affected guests on CRKKUL/KULCRK flights have been contacted via e-mail with information on their next course of action. Affected guests on all other routes will be contacted via e-mail and SMS. The e-mail shall contain their new flight schedule.

Guests with flights within the next 30 days are advised to call +632.7422742 (ASIA) or AirAsia Call Centres across the region that can be found through this link: http://www.airasia.com/ot/en/contact-us/call-centre.page. Guests with flights departing more than 30 days after may also use our eForm to choose any of the service recovery measures. The eForm may be accessed through this link: http://www.airasia.com/my/en/e-form.page.

I have not received an e-mail or SMS with my new flight schedule even though I know my flight is affected. What should I do?
We will contact all affected guests. We are currently prioritizing contact with guests whose flights will depart within the next two months.

What about my hotel reservations / ground transportation / missed tours or any other out of pocket expenses which I have booked? Will AirAsia be providing any compensation for these items?
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will not be bearing any costs for these (abovementioned); kindly contact your travel insurance provider for assistance regarding the same.
