Document If I have a medical condition, or have recently had an operation, can I still fly?

We understand that unexpected situations arise involving illness or medical procedures.

Unless otherwise determined by us, you are required to produce a valid medical certificate dated no more than 7 days from the date of travel and sign a Limited Liability Statement upon check in confirming that you are fit to travel if you have a medical condition. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Carriage article 7.3 here

Definition of medical conditions/ illnesses:

  1. A pre-existing medical condition; or
  2. An unstable medical condition; or
  3. A recent illness, injury, surgery or hospitalization; or
  4. Intention to seek treatment overseas; or
  5. An infectious, contagious or chronic disease

If you do not wish to fly due to illness or medical procedures, we will allow you to cancel your flight if you are able to provide doctor's official letter stating that you are unable to fly. We will offer you the value of the fare you paid in a credit account for your future travel which must be utilized within three (3) months from the date of credit issuance. Please submit your case through our Feedback Form here. Note that a cancellation fee will apply.
