Document Do guests with diabetes need to make any special arrangements to travel?

Diabetic guests do not require advance medical clearance to travel, provided their condition is stable and they can take care of their own medication requirements.

If you are insulin dependent, you should be able to administer your own medication onboard.  If not, then you should fly with a companion who is willing and able to assist you.

As security screening at airports is outside our control, you should at all times carry a Doctor's letter confirming your need to carry syringes, needles and medication on board an aircraft. Guests must retain and dispose of any used syringes, needles and medication after their exit from the aircraft.
