I recently had the privilege to try out AirAsia’s new inflight meal – the Roast Chicken with Black Pepper & Mushroom Sauce, and so I took a short break from my training session at a local stadium to take one delicious bite (and a few more).
The chicken was tender and succulent, and although there was a tad bit of fat on the chicken, the meat practically melted in my mouth. It was that good!
The black pepper and mushroom sauce only made the meal even better – it was absolutely flavourful and I liked the fact that there was a generous portion of sauce to go with the chicken.
The vegetables were a good combination of carrots, potatoes and cauliflowers that complimented each other, though I thought that a little bit more seasoning would definitely add more zing to it! Nevertheless, I had enough sauce to go around, so it’s still a pretty good addition to the chicken.
All in all, I loved the fact that the chicken along with the sauce and vegetables together taste just like Christmas in my mouth!
