As the golden orb dipped into the amber sea, leaving paragliders suspended in their rays, I inhaled the salty air and sipped my Langkawi Wowee (a fruity concoction of Teacher’s whiskey, Malibu, Bacardi, mango juice, pineapple juice, coconut milk and grenadine syrup), thoroughly enjoying my evening at what was, in the 80s, a hippie hangout known as Coco Jam Bar.
