The low-cost airline now offers flights six times daily to Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok
Singapore, 15 JULY 2013
AirAsia, the world’s best low-cost airline, has introduced its sixth frequency to its Singapore-Bangkok route, flying daily direct from Singapore Changi Terminal 1 to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The announcement also comes with a flight promotion, where Singapore travellers can fly from an all-in-fare of SGD 70* one way to the land of all smiles.
The promotion is available for booking from today to 21 July 2013, for travel from 7 August to 31 December 2013. AirAsia is the only airline to land at Don Mueang Airport from Singapore. The smaller Don Mueang airport is less congested compared to Suvarnabhumi Airport so is able to facilitate immigration clearance quicker; it is also closer to the Bangkok city, which reduces travelling time for passengers.
With the added frequency, travellers now have the flexibility of flight timings to plan their Thailand trips. For travellers who are looking to explore beyond Bangkok, AirAsia has a wide domestic network to cater to that need. From Bangkok, travellers can fly on AirAsia to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Siem Reap, Hat Yai, Krabi, Trang, Surat Thani and many more.
In conjunction with the sixth frequency launch, AirAsia Singapore is offering low fares from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Siem Reap. Flight fares for the three destinations from Bangkok are going from an all-in-fare of SGD 43# each, one way, and are available for booking from today to 21 July 2013, for travel from 7 August to 31 December 2013.
