Hotel Only Terms and Conditions


These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall govern your booking of hotel only product on (“Website”) and shall be the legally binding document between you and AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd (“AirAsia.Com, us, our, we). By completing the booking, you are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by this Terms and Conditions, as well as Term of Use and Privacy Statement of the Website which may be amended and revised from time to time.

  1. We allow you to book hotel rooms and other hotel related add ons (“Hotel Package”) on the Website. The hotel room is powered by and offered for booking on the Website in collaboration with various hotel rooms providers both direct and indirect, including Travelscape LLC (“Hotel Provider”). You acknowledge that by completing the booking of Hotel Package, you are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Hotel Provider, which can be found here .
  2. You acknowledge and accept that AirAsia.Com is only a distributor of the Hotel Package. The Hotel Package made available for booking on the Website is fulfilled and supplied by the respective hotel owner, hotel management company and/or its merchant partners or service partners (“Hotel Partners”) and you accept that the Hotel Partners may impose its respective terms and conditions which will be additional to this Terms and Conditions and by virtue of you completing the purchase, you agree to bound by and abide by such additional terms and conditions.
  3. Further, as AirAsia.Com is only a distributor of the Hotel Package, you agree and accept that we assume no liability should there be any loss or damages as a result of any act or omission or negligence on the part of the Hotel Partners in the course of its performance.
  4. By clicking “Complete Booking” you are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by this Terms and Conditions as contained herein and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by AirAsia.Com from time to time (as may be applicable).
  5. Hotel Package offered via the Website is strictly subject to availability.


  1. You acknowledge that the booking of Hotel Package on this Website is made available on a standalone “hotel only” basis and will not be affected by any flight cancellation or suspension to a particular destination. Failure to check in accordance with the Hotel Package booked will be treated as late cancellation and will result in full cancellation unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of booking email.
  2. Once you have completed booking of the Hotel Package, the booking confirmation will be emailed to the email address that you have provided during the booking process. In the booking confirmation email, you shall find the cancellation policy imposed by us or the Hotel Partners

Cancellation and Refund

  1. Unless specifically mentioned at the time of booking and contained in the confirmation of booking, every booking of Hotel Package once confirmed is not refundable, transferable or exchangeable.
  2. Further, you acknowledge and accept that you may be bound by the cancellation and refund policy of the Hotel Package you have booked, which, if any, will be included as part of information for the Hotel Package before or at the point of completion of your booking. This information will also be contained in the confirmation of booking email.
  3. In the event, through no fault of you, your Hotel Package booking is cancelled, you agree and accept that the only liability of us to you shall be a full refund of the amount paid for the booking.
  4. Under normal circumstances, refund of Hotel Package will take up to 14 working days. Such qualifying refund will be released back to the same medium of payment you used to make payment of the booking.
  5. Save for the foregoing refund policy, you agree, accept and acknowledge that we will not be liable for any further damages, claims or compensation in the event of flight cancellation or flight change by the airline or by you.

Award of BIG Points

  1. The booking of Hotel Package entitles you to BIG Points which is the loyalty features of the AirAsia membership. To earn BIG Points, you will need to be an AirAsia member and log on to the AirAsia membership account at any time before the completion of the purchase. You can register to be an AirAsia member here.
  2. BIG Points is the loyalty and rewards feature of AirAsia membership. This program is operated by BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd (‘BIG’) under the name “BIG Loyalty Program”) and has a unique registration number tied to your AirAsia membership account known as the “BIG Member ID”, which is issued by BIG.
  3. The usage of BIG Points will be subject to the BIGLIFE Membership Terms and Conditions that are available on the BIG’s website ( ). By signing up to the AirAsia membership account, you are deemed to have agreed and accepted the terms and conditions of BIG. Kindly keep yourself updated with the terms and conditions of BIG as it may be updated and revised from time to time.
  4. BIG Points shall be awarded to you for the Hotel Package booking made through debit card, credit card or online banking payment. The earning ratio is 1 BIG Point for every spend of RM2.
  5. BIG Points will not be awarded for purchases made with any promotional codes or vouchers.
  6. BIG reserves the absolute right, at any time, to verify the validity of each booking and/or identity of passengers who are BIG Members at any point in time.
  7. The award of BIG Points will be credited to BIG Member’s loyalty membership account within sixty (60) days after the hotel check-out date (or any other period as BIG deem appropriate).
  8. BIG reserves the absolute right to substitute and/or replace the award of BIG Points from time to time without any prior notice to the BIG Members and/or to change the BIG Points award ratio at any time without any prior notice.
  9. BIG reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify, decline or reject any award of BIG Points to you and/or to retract or forfeit the awarded BIG Points from you if BIG believes or has reason to suspect that you have (singularly or jointly with any other BIG Member) undertaken fraudulent practice(s) and/or activities with respect to the purchase of any products or services through this Hotel Package in order to earn BIG Points or undertaken any activities (including but not limited to fraudulent activities) harmful to the Hotel or to BIG.
  10. Retro-claims by you for the award of BIG Points will not be entertained. Any request by you to verify your BIG Member account or to be eligible for BIG Points after completion of purchase without verifying their respective BIG Member account will not be entertained.
  11. Redemption of BIG Points for this Hotel Package is not allowed.


  1. We reserve the right to use any collected personal data in accordance with AirAsia Group’s privacy statement which can be referred to by clicking the link: By booking a Hotel Package, you are deemed to have consented to such use with no monetary payment whatsoever.
  2. You may be contacted with respect to any matter under this Hotel Package booking or the ‘BIG Loyalty Program’, at any time deemed appropriate by us or BIG, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by us and/or BIG.
  3. We reserve the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Hotel Package with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason hereto. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by us shall not entitle you to any claim or compensation against us for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension saved for the sole remedy provided for in this Terms and Conditions.
  4. We reserve the absolute right to vary, delete, update, or add to any of these terms and conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without any prior notice. Our decision in relation to all aspects of the Hotel Package booking is deemed final, binding and conclusive under all circumstances and no correspondence, complaint or appeal whatsoever will be entertained.
  5. We are not responsible for providing the actual Hotel Package. The Hotel Package listed in the Website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement by us on the quality, service level or rating of a specific hotel or Hotel Package thereof. We hereby expressly disclaim any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality, fitness, merchantability, suitability, status or adequacy of any Hotel Package listed or offered by the Hotel Partners under this Website.
  6. We shall not be held liable for any claim, damages, personal injury, or death, which may incur or suffer during your stay at the hotel.
  7. You agree to defend and indemnify us and any of our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party or your use of our Information.
  8. In addition to the Terms and Conditions contained herein, you also acknowledge and accept that upon checking-in, you will be further subjected to the respective Hotel Partners’ terms and conditions that can be found on the relevant Hotel Partners’ website.
  9. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the Hotel Partners’ terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail but only to the extent to such inconsistency.
  10. This Terms and Conditions was originally written in English. To the extent any translated version of this Terms and Conditions conflicts with the English version, the English version shall prevail and be given full effect.
