airasia rewards+ Subscription Terms and Conditions
(1) Introduction
Please read these Terms and Conditions (these "Terms") carefully as they govern your use of (which includes access to) airasia rewards+ subscription, including our website, mobile app and software applications that incorporate or link to these Terms (collectively, the "airasia rewards+") and all the features made available exclusively to the subscribers of the airasia rewards+ (the "Content").
Use of the airasia rewards+ may be subject to additional terms and conditions presented by BIGLIFE Sdn. Bhd. (“BIG”), the owner and operator of the airasia rewards, which are hereby incorporated by this reference into these Terms.
By subscribing for, or otherwise using the airasia rewards+, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, then you must not use the airasia rewards+ or the Content.
Applicability
These Terms are between you and BIG. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, these Terms shall be applicable within Malaysia and Thailand regions (“Participating Regions”) and to those who are located in the Participating Regions (based on the Internet Protocol geo-location detected) only.
Age and eligibility requirements
In order to use the airasia rewards+ and access any Content, you need to (1) be 18 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in your home country) or older, (2) have parent or guardian consent if you are a minor in your home country and (3) have the power to enter a binding contract with BIG and not be barred from doing so under any applicable laws; and (4) be an airasia member (having subscribed and registered for membership under the loyalty and rewards program operated by BIG under the name “airasia rewards” and have a unique registration number known as the “airasia member ID” and airasia rewards account issued by BIG.
You further confirm that any airasia rewards+ registration information that you submit to BIG is true, accurate, updated and complete, and you agree to keep it that way at all times. If you are a minor in your home country, your parent or guardian will need to enter into these Terms on your behalf. You can find additional information regarding minimum age requirements in the registration process. If you do not meet the minimum age requirements, then BIG will be unable to register you as a user.
(2) Your Use of the airasia rewards+
Subscription to airasia rewards+
In order to use all or part of the airasia rewards+, you need to subscribe to airasia rewards+ on your airasia membership account via airasia Superapp mobile application by paying an annual subscription fee. The amount of the annual subscription fee shall be posted on the rewards+ page in the airasia Superapp mobile application.
The annual subscription fee is inclusive of tax, and shall be payable by you via a 3D secure payment mode (“Paid Subscription”). You will be able to access or enjoy the airasia rewards+ benefits for a period of one (1) year from the effective date of Paid Subscription (“Subscription Period”) unless your airasia membership account is terminated for any reason prior to expiry of the Subscription Period. In such circumstances, BIG does not provide any refund or credit for any unexpired term of the Subscription Period.
You will not be able to enjoy the airasia rewards+ benefits in the event your airasia membership account is suspended for any reason during the Subscription Period. In the event there is no Paid Subscription made prior to expiry of the Subscription Period, all airasia rewards+ benefits will cease to apply upon expiry of the Subscription Period.
Renewal of any airasia rewards+ membership will be in accordance to the country of origin where you first subscribe to the airasia rewards+ membership. Should you wish to change the country of origin due to (among others) a change in your country of residence, please contact Customer Happiness via the method set out in Section 4 below for assistance.
Auto renewal of airasia rewards+
You may choose to have your Paid Subscription automatically renewed for a period equivalent to the Subscription Period upon expiration of the Subscription Period. By automatically renew your Paid Subscription, you are able to continue enjoying the benefits of rewards+ post expiration date or whenever the maximum capping of 5,000 points is exhausted.
To have your Paid Subscription automatically renewed, you must pre-selected the automatic renewal option prior to making payment to subscribe to airasia rewards+. Once this option is selected, you will be charged automatically for the prevailing annual subscription fee upon expiration of each Subscription Period.
You are allowed to manage your subscription of airasia rewards+ at any time, including disabling auto renewal after the end of the Subscription Period. You may do so at “Manage Subscription” in rewards+ page. For clarity, you are also able to renew your Paid Subscription manually before the expiration of the Subscription Period by selecting 'Renew Now' option at “Manage Subscription” in rewards+ page.
You will receive an email notification upon any opt-in or opt-out decision, including a receipt of your payment where applicable.
Access to the airasia rewards+Subject to your compliance with these Terms (including any other applicable terms and conditions), BIG grants you limited, non-transferrable, non-exclusive, revocable permission to make personal, non-commercial use of the airasia rewards+ and the Content (collectively, "Access"). This Access shall remain in effect unless and until terminated by you or BIG. You agree that you will not transfer and/or modify the airasia rewards+ or the Content.
BIG, airasia rewards+ and its software applications and the Content are licensed, not sold or transferred to you, and BIG retains ownership of airasia rewards+ and its software applications and Content even after subscription by you.
BIG's Proprietary Rights
airasia rewards+ and the Content are the property of BIG. All BIG trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, domain names, and any other features of the BIG brand ("BIG Brand Features") are the sole property of BIG. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use any BIG brand features whether for commercial or non-commercial use.
You agree to abide by airasia Privacy Policy, airasia Terms of Use, airasia rewards membership Terms and Conditions and not to use the airasia rewards+, the Content, or any part thereof in any manner not expressly permitted by these Terms

Price and tax changes
BIG may from time to time change the price for the Paid Subscription, including recurring subscription fees, and will communicate any price changes to you in advance on reasonable notice.
Where you opt for auto renewal, the price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Subject to applicable law, by continuing to use the airasia rewards+ after the price change takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the new subscription fee. If you do not agree to a price change, you can disable the “auto renewal” option prior to the next subscription period.
Tax rates chargeable are based on the rates applicable at the time of your annual charge. These amounts can change over time with tax requirements accordingly. Any change in tax rate will be automatically applied based on the account information you provide.

In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of these Terms and the corresponding terms and conditions referenced in the above table, these Terms will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency only.
airasia rewards+ Benefits
By subscribing airasia rewards+, you shall be entitled to the following Benefits:
- Two times (2x) accelerated airasia points earn rate with the following merchants/platforms owned, operated, registered and/or in partnership with BIG under the existing programmes devised, introduced, offered and/or managed by BIG:-
- 20% airasia pointsback for every airasia rewards deals redemption made through the airasia Super App mobile app, which is capped at 5,000 airasia points per airasia member for each year of airasia rewards+ subscription.
- Discount vouchers ("Vouchers") on purchase of any products and/or services offered by BIG's partners as determined by BIG in the respective Participating Regions and shall be valid for the period as determined by BIG’s respective partners. Usage of the Vouchers is subject to the terms and conditions of BIG’s respective partners.

Note: The 2x accelerator of airasia points is capped at 5,000 airasia points per airasia member for each year of airasia rewards+ subscription.
Notwithstanding the standard validity period of airasia points as provided in the airasia rewards membership Terms and Conditions, the airasia points earned pursuant to (a) and (b) above will remain valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of issuance of such airasia points and it will automatically expire from the airasia rewards+ account at the end of the 12th month thereafter.
(3) Intellectual Property Rights
All right, title and interest in and to all the patents, inventions, copyrights, trademarks, domain names, trade secrets, know-how and other intellectual property and/or proprietary rights in or related to the airasia rewards+, including the websites and mobile apps, and any part of it (collectively, the "BIG Intellectual Property Rights"), are owned or licensed by and shall remain exclusively with BIG. BIG is the owner or the licensee of all BIG Intellectual Property Rights in the website and the mobile app, and the content or material published on it. You must not use any part of the Content on airasia Superapp’s website or mobile app for commercial purposes, which shall be deemed illegal. Subject to the limited rights expressly granted by BIG to you pursuant to these Terms as a subscriber of airasia rewards+, you do not have any right, title to or interest in the BIG Intellectual Property Rights.

(5) Problems And Disputes
Suspending and terminating the airasia rewards+
These Terms will continue to apply to you until and unless (i) your airasia membership account is closed by you or (ii) terminated by BIG. BIG may terminate these Terms (including any additional terms and conditions incorporated herein) or suspend your access to the airasia rewards+ at any time if BIG believes you have breached any of these Terms, if BIG stops providing the airasia rewards+ or any material component thereof on reasonable notice to you, or as BIG believes it is necessary to comply with applicable law. If BIG terminate these Terms, or if BIG suspends your access to the airasia rewards+, you agree that BIG shall, subject to applicable laws, have no liability or responsibility to you, and (except as expressly provided in these Terms) BIG will not refund any amounts that you have already paid towards your subscription of airasia rewards+.
Sections 2 (Your Use of the airasia rewards+), 3 (Intellectual Property Rights), 5 (Problems and Disputes), 7 (About These Terms) herein, as well as any other sections of these Terms that, either explicitly or by their nature, must remain in effect even after termination of these Terms, shall survive termination.
Warranty Disclaimers
BIG will provide the airasia rewards+ using reasonable care and skill and in accordance with any specification of the airasia rewards+ provided by BIG, however, subject to that, the airasia rewards+ is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Further, BIG disclaims any express, implied, and statutory warranties regarding the subscription, including warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. BIG does not warrant that the airasia rewards+ or subscription is free of malware or other harmful components. In addition, BIG makes no representation regarding, nor does it warrant or assume any responsibility for, any third-party applications (or the content thereof), user content, devices or any product or service advertised, promoted or offered by a third party on or through the airasia rewards+ or any hyperlinked website, and BIG is not responsible for any transactions between you and any third-party providers of the foregoing. No advice or information whether oral or in writing obtained by you from BIG shall create any warranty on behalf of BIG. This section applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to applicable law, you agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for any problems or dissatisfaction with the airasia rewards+ is to uninstall any BIG software. You agree that BIG has no obligation or liability arising from or related to third-party applications or the content thereof made available through or in connection with the airasia rewards+, and while your relationship with such third-party applications may be governed by separate agreements with such third parties, your sole and exclusive remedy, as with respect to BIG, for any problems or dissatisfaction with any third-party applications or the content thereof, is to uninstall or stop using such third-party applications.
In no event will BIG, its officers, shareholders, employees, agents, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, suppliers, or licensors be liable for (1) any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages; (2) any loss of use, data, business, or profits (whether direct or indirect), in all cases arising out of the use of or inability to use the airasia rewards+, devices, third-party applications, or third-party application content; or (3) aggregate liability for all claims relating to the airasia rewards+, third-party applications, or third-party application content more than the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to airasia rewards+ during the twelve months prior to the first claim. Any liability BIG does have for losses you suffer is strictly limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable.
For clarification, these Terms do not limit BIG’s liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury to the extent that applicable law would prohibit such a limitation and for any other liability that, by applicable law, may not be limited or excluded.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BIG harmless from and against any reasonably foreseeable direct losses, damages, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorney fees and costs) suffered or incurred by BIG arising out of or related to: (1) your breach of any of these Terms (including any additional BIG terms and conditions incorporated herein); (2) any activity in which you engage on or through the airasia rewards+; and (3) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
(6) Governing Law And Jurisdiction
airasia rewards+ and these Terms are subject to the laws of Malaysia.
Further, you and BIG agree to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian Courts to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy that arises in connection with the airasia rewards+ and these Terms.
(7) About These Terms
Under applicable law, you may have certain rights that can't be limited by a contract. These terms are in no way intended to restrict those rights.
Changes
BIG may make changes to these Terms (including any additional BIG terms and conditions incorporated by reference herein) from time to time by notifying you of such changes by any reasonable means (before they take effect), including by posting a notice on airasia rewards+ subscription (provided that, for material changes, BIG will seek to supplement such notice by email, an in-service pop-up message, or other means). Any such changes will not apply to any dispute between you and BIG arising prior to the date on which BIG posted the revised Terms, or other BIG terms and conditions, incorporating such changes, or otherwise BIG notified you of such changes. Your use of the airasia rewards+ following any changes to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not wish to continue using the airasia rewards+ under the updated Terms, you may terminate your airasia membership account by contacting BIG. The effective date set forth at the top of this document indicates when these Terms were last changed.
Entire Agreement
Other than as stated in this section or as explicitly agreed upon in writing between you and BIG, these Terms constitute all the terms and conditions agreed upon between you and BIG and supersede any prior agreements in relation to the subject matter of these Terms, whether written or oral. As noted above, other terms and conditions governing use of the airasia rewards+ are incorporated herein by reference, including the following terms and conditions: the airasia rewards membership Terms and Conditions; the airasia xchange Terms and Conditions; the airasia rewards deals Terms and Conditions; the Lifestyle Partner Program Terms and Conditions; BIG Privacy Policy; and the BIG Terms of Use which can be viewed at https://www.airasia.com/aa/rewards/en/gb/rewards-membership.html. Your airasia rewards+ is STRICTLY SUBJECT to your compliance to such terms and conditions and these Terms.
Severability and Waiver
Unless as otherwise stated in these Terms, should any provision of these Terms be held invalid or unenforceable for any reason or to any extent, the remaining provisions of these Terms will not be affected, and the application of that provision shall be enforced to the extent permitted by law.
Any failure by BIG to enforce these Terms or any provision thereof shall not waive BIG’s right to do so.
Assignment
BIG may assign any or all of these Terms, and may assign or delegate, in whole or in part, any of its rights or obligations under these Terms.
