Hotel Bookings with Rocketmiles - Terms and Conditions

By participating in this Program for the purchase or redemption of hotel bookings with Rocketmiles, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd (formerly known as BIG Loyalty Sdn Bhd and Think Big Digital Sdn Bhd) (“BL”) from time to time which are legally binding.

Purchase and/or Redemption of AirAsia points

  1. The Hotel Bookings with Rocketmiles (“Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings”) is offered by BL in collaboration with our partner, Rocket Travel Inc (“Rocketmiles”). The products and services listed under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings for purchase or redemption by AirAsia members are offered, provided and supplied by Rocketmiles or its merchant partners or service partners. All products and services under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings are directly provided and fulfilled by Rocketmiles or its merchant partners or service partners in accordance with the hotel or service provider’s respective terms and conditions.
  2. By clicking on the “Confirm Reservation” button before AirAsia members are allowed to proceed with redemption or purchase of products and/or services offered under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings, all AirAsia members are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Program as stated herein and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by BL from time to time (as may be applicable) including the decisions by BL in all matters related therein.
  3. Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings offered for purchase and redemption are strictly subject to availability.
  4. The number of AirAsia points required for any purchase or redemption of Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings are subject to change and BL, as the owner and operator of “AirAsia rewards Program” where AirAsia points are issued and redeemed by AirAsia members, reserves the right to fix and change the price of AirAsia points, impose additional restrictions and/or conditions in using the AirAsia points for purchase or redemption from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion, and all such decisions by BL shall be deemed final and conclusive and BL will not entertain any complaint or dissatisfaction in relation thereto.
  5. Purchase or redemption of Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings can only be done by AirAsia members at the Rocketmiles platform/website.
  6. Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings redeemed using AirAsia points or purchased with credit card or debit card payment are non-refundable and may not be cancelled upon confirmation of purchase via redemption except in the event of the failure by the respective merchants or service partners to provide, honour or fulfil the relevant products or services. In such instances, all queries with respect to any refund must be made by AirAsia members directly to Rocketmiles’ customer care.
  7. All Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings purchased or redeemed are subject to the respective hotel’s or service provider’s terms and conditions for every product and/or services purchased or redeemed.
  8. Any queries relating to the products or services purchased or redeemed under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings subsequent to the redemption or purchase thereof shall be made directly to Rocketmiles and/or its respective hotels or service providers and BIG is not responsible for the actual products or services redeemed/purchased by AirAsia members or the fulfilment thereof. The Program does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement by BL of any product or service listed, offered or sold through Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings or the quality, service level or rating thereof. BL hereby expressly disclaims any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality, fitness, merchantability, suitability, status or adequacy of any product or service listed or offered by Rocketmiles or the respective hotels under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings.

Award of AirAsia points

  1. AirAsia points shall be awarded to every AirAsia member for the booking of hotels with Rocketmiles through debit card or credit card payment at the award rate of 1 AirAsia point for every spend of RM1 via the Rocketmiles Website. To qualify for the award of AirAsia points, AirAsia members must make a successful booking of a hotel under Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings at the Rocketmiles platform/Website (“Successful Booking”) to be entitled for the award of AirAsia points. For the avoidance of doubt, AirAsia points will only be awarded for hotel bookings made via credit/debit card and not via redemption of AirAsia points.
  2. AirAsia points will not be awarded for purchases made with any promotional codes or vouchers.
  3. BL reserves the absolute right, at any time, to verify the validity of Successful Order and/or identity of AirAsia members at any point of time.
  4. The award of AirAsia points will be credited to the AirAsia member’s account within fourteen days (14) (or any other period as BL deemed appropriate) of the Successful Order subject to BL receiving all necessary information as deemed necessary.
  5. BL reserves the absolute right to substitute and/or replace the award of AirAsia points from time to time without any prior notice to the AirAsia members and/or to change AirAsia points award ratio at any time without any prior notice.
  6. BL reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify, decline or reject any transaction by AirAsia member(s) and/or not to award or to retract or forfeit the award of AirAsia points from any AirAsia member if BL believes or has reason to suspect that the AirAsia member has (singularly or jointly with any other AirAsia member) undertaken fraudulent practice(s) and/or activities with respect to the purchase of any products or services through this Program in order to earn AirAsia points or undertaken any activities (including but not limited to fraudulent activities) harmful to the Program or to BL.
  7. The award of AirAsia points under this Program is also subject to Rocketmiles’ or the respective hotel’s or service provider’s product terms and conditions including Rocketmiles’ refund policy for every product or service purchased or redeemed by the AirAsia member through this Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings.
  8. BL reserves the right to use any personal data and/or images of AirAsia members in relation to Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings and in accordance with BL’s privacy policy and by participating in Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings, all AirAsia members are deemed to have consented to such use with no monetary payment whatsoever.
  9. AirAsia members may be contacted with respect to any matter in relation to Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings or the ‘AirAsia rewards Program’, at any time deemed appropriate by BL, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by BL.
  10. BL reserves the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Program with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by BL shall not entitle AirAsia members to any claim or compensation against BL for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
  11. Retro-claims by AirAsia members for the award of AirAsia points will not be entertained. Any request by AirAsia members to verify their AirAsia member account or to be eligible for AirAsia points after redemption or completion of purchase without verifying their respective AirAsia member account will not be entertained.
  12. The terms and conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other Program or advertising materials for Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translation thereof, the English version of the terms and conditions shall prevail and supersede.
  13. BL reserves the absolute right to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without any prior notice. BL’s decision in relation to all aspects of the Rocketmiles Hotel Bookings including the award of AirAsia points to eligible AirAsia members is deemed final, binding and conclusive under all circumstances and no correspondence, complaint or appeal whatsoever will be entertained.

AirAsia points as form of payment

  1. The option to use AirAsia points as a form of payment for hotel bookings with Rocketmiles is only available for AirAsia members with a minimum of 1000 AirAsia points remaining in his or her AirAsia membership account.
  2. Any deduction of AirAsia points as a form of payment is only available in predetermined blocks as determined by BL.
  3. The price of AirAsia points is subject to change and BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd (formerly known as BIG Loyalty Sdn Bhd and Think BIG Digital Sdn Bhd) (“BL), as the owner and operator of the loyalty program referred as the “AirAsia rewards Program” where AirAsia points are issued and redeemed by AirAsia members, reserves the right to fix and change the price of AirAsia points, impose additional restrictions and/or conditions in using the AirAsia points as a form of payment from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion, and all such decisions by BL shall be deemed final and conclusive and BL will not entertain any complaint or dissatisfaction in relation thereto.
  4. AirAsia points as a form of payment can only be used to deduct the published hotel rates and is not available to deduct any other fees and taxes including but not limited to Sales and Services Tax (“SST”) which must be paid by credit/debit card.
  5. All fees and charges including AirAsia points used as form of payment are subject to Rocketmiles and the relevant hotel’s terms and conditions along with AirAsia rewards Program membership terms and conditions.
  6. By using your AirAsia points as a payment currency for hotel bookings with Rocketmiles, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by BL from time to time) which are legally binding.
  7. AirAsia members who are suspended or blacklisted under the AirAsia rewards Program are not entitled to use AirAsia points as a form of payment for hotel bookings with Rocketmiles.
