AirAsia points as a form of payment and award at Shop website (“Shop Website”)

By participating in this program for the redemption and/or award of AirAsia points (hereinafter defined) of products (“Shop Products”) sold on the platform managed by Shop365 Sdn Bhd’s (“Shop”) (“Program”), you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these legally binding terms and conditions (and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd (“BL”) from time to time (“Terms and Conditions”).

AirAsia points as a form of payment

  1. The option to use points issued by BL (“AirAsia points”) as a form of payment for Shop Products is only available for AirAsia members (having subscribed and registered for membership under the loyalty and rewards program operated by BL under the name “AirAsia rewards” and have a unique registration number known as the “AirAsia member ID” issued by BL).
  2. Any deduction of AirAsia points as a form of payment is only available at a minimum and in blocks of a knock-off rate of 125 AirAsia points for every RM1 used (“Redemption Rate”) for purchase of Shop Products.
  3. The Redemption Rate is subject to change and BL reserves the right to fix and change the Redemption Rate, impose additional restrictions and/or conditions in using AirAsia points as a form of payment, from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion, and all such decisions by BL shall be deemed final and conclusive and BL will not entertain any complaint or dissatisfaction in relation thereto.
  4. AirAsia members remain liable to settle any remaining amount if the total amount of AirAsia points of such AirAsia member is not sufficient to cover the entire cost of the Shop Products. Payment can be made via any available venue as per the terms and conditions set by Shop Products. For the purposes of clarification, AirAsia members shall use the AirAsia points in the redemption of Shop Products only, which shall not include other relevant cost/fee/charges (such as any applicable tax and delivery charges).
  5. Once purchased, AirAsia members shall direct all queries, products or services related issues with respect to Shop Products to Shopand/or its respective merchants. AirAsia members shall direct all queries relating to AirAsia points, AirAsia rewards and AirAsia member ID to BL. BL is not responsible for the actual products or services redeemed/purchased by AirAsia members or the fulfilment thereof. The Program does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement by BL of (the quality, service level or rating of) any product or service listed, offered or sold in Shop Website. BL hereby expressly disclaims any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality, fitness, merchantability, suitability, status or adequacy of any product or service listed in Shop Website and/or sold by Shop.
  6. Once a purchase of Shop Products has been made using AirAsia points as form of payment, no refund of AirAsia points is allowed, and any refund is strictly subjected to Shop refund policy as applicable.
  7. By using your AirAsia points as a payment currency for purchases with Shop Products on Shop Website, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions which are legally binding.
  8. AirAsia members who are suspended or blacklisted under the AirAsia rewards Program are not entitled to use AirAsia points as a form of payment for purchases of Shop Products on ShopWebsite.

Award of AirAsia points

  1. AirAsia points shall be awarded to every AirAsia member for the purchase of Shop Products through (i) part redemption of AirAsia points plus payment with any payment cards and/or (ii) full payment with any payment cards, at the award rate of one (1) AirAsia point for every spend of RM2 (“Awards Ratio”).
  2. To qualify for the award of AirAsia points, AirAsia members must link their AirAsia account on Shop Website and proceed to make a purchase on Shop Website.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt, 100% redemption of AirAsia points for the Shop Products will not be eligible for award of AirAsia points.
  4. Any transaction made using a foreign currency will be converted into MYR based on the daily currency conversion rate published on Shop Website prior to AirAsia points awarding.
  5. No AirAsia points will be awarded for incomplete, cancelled, invalid or refunded purchases.
  6. AirAsia points will be credited to the AirAsia member’s account within 30 days from the delivery or end collection date of the purchases.
  7. BL will not entertain any claims for AirAsia points in the event AirAsia members have failed to link their AirAsia account prior to any of the aforementioned purchases on Shop Website. Retro-claims by AirAsia members for the award of AirAsia points will not be entertained. Any request by AirAsia members to verify their AirAsia account or to be eligible for AirAsia points after redemption or completion of purchase without verifying their respective AirAsia account will not be entertained.
  8. BL reserves the absolute right, at any time, to verify the validity of successful order and/or identity of AirAsia members at any point of time.
  9. BL reserves the absolute right to substitute and/or replace the award of AirAsia points from time to time without any prior notice to AirAsia members and/or to change AirAsia points Award Ratio at any time without any prior notice.
  10. BL reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify, decline or reject any transaction by AirAsia member(s) and/or not to award or to retract or forfeit the award of AirAsia points from any AirAsia member if BL believes or has reason to suspect that the AirAsia member has (singularly or jointly with any other AirAsia member) undertaken fraudulent practice(s) and/or activities with respect to the purchase of any products or services through this Program in order to earn AirAsia points or undertaken any activities (including but not limited to fraudulent activities) harmful to the Program or to BL.
  11. BL reserves the right to use any collected personal data and/or images of AirAsia members who have redeemed and/or earned AirAsia points on AirAsia TravellMall Website in accordance with BL’s privacy policy and by using the AirAsia TravellMall Website to earn and/or redeem AirAsia points, all AirAsia members are deemed to have consented to such use with no monetary payment whatsoever.
  12. AirAsia members may be contacted with respect to any matter in relation to AirAsia TravellMall or the ‘AirAsia rewards Program’, at any time deemed appropriate by BL, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by BL.
  13. BL reserves the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Program with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by BL shall not entitle AirAsia members to any claim or compensation against BL for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
  14. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other Program. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translation thereof, the English version of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail and supersede.
  15. BL reserves the absolute right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without any prior notice. BL’s decision in relation to all aspects herein including the award of AirAsia points to eligible AirAsia members is deemed final, binding and conclusive under all circumstances and no correspondence, complaint or appeal whatsoever will be entertained.
