AirAsia offers complete self-service experience at klia2

SEPANG, 17 MAY 2016

Self Check-In for all AirAsia and AirAsia X guests travelling through klia2 will be fully implemented from 18 May 2016 onwards, as part of the airline’s efforts to create a smoother and seamless travel experience for all its guests.

Counter check-in at klia2 will no longer be available from 18 May 2016 onwards. All guests are advised to conduct self check-in through the various options available, such as web check-in, mobile check-in and kiosk check-in (available at the airport) before proceeding to the Baggage Drop Counters, for guests who have check-in baggage.

Both web and mobile check-ins are available 14 days up to 1 hour before scheduled time of departure for AirAsia flights, while guests on AirAsia X flights will be able to conduct web or mobile check-in 14 days up to 4 hours before their scheduled time of departure.

Self Bag Tag, where guests are able to print their bag tags at home or at the kiosk at the airport is an innovative feature by the airline to provide guests with an enhanced travel experience, and is now available at klia2. Guests who are pregnant, travelling with infants, have reduced mobility or require special needs, aged 16 and below and is travelling alone, have medical conditions or illnesses can approach the dedicated service counter for assistance.
