Please take note that guests departing from klia2 are required to perform self check-in. Before you proceed, please ensure that you are eligible for self check-in . It is also your responsibility to meet the entry requirements of the country of your destination prior to departure.
Performing mobile check-in is simple, and can be done within minutes from the palm of your hands.
Once you’re checked in, you may receive an E-Boarding Pass or a 2D barcode which you can save and use to print your boarding pass at one of our kiosks at the airport.
With an E-Boarding Pass, you can go straight to the boarding gate and skip the long queues at the airport. To be eligible for this, just ensure that you are:
checking in for 1 guest
travelling from Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines (Manila), and Indonesia only
- not travelling to Australia
- not on Fly-Thru flights
- not travelling to destinations with Visa requirements
- not travelling with infants
- not pre-booking wheelchair or any other special assistance
Once you’ve checked in via the AirAsia Mobile App, you will receive a 2D barcode (if you are not eligible for E-Boarding Pass) which you can then scan at one of our check-in kiosks to get your boarding pass. Alternatively, you may also proceed to the check-in counters to have your boarding pass printed out.
After checking in
If you have checked baggage, you can head over to the baggage drop counter. Please note that you may be required to get your travel documents verified.
If you are eligible for E-Boarding Pass with no checked baggage, you can proceed straight to the boarding gate.
