Spencer Lee, Head of Commercial AirAsia Berhad said, “We are pleased to launch another international route from Sarawak after launching Kuching-Shenzhen early this week. The new route and added flight frequencies announcements continue to strengthen our position in East Malaysia and further reaffirm our commitment to develop Sarawak, consistent with our current plan for the state.
“All these will not be possible without the continuous support from the government of Sarawak and we are very thankful to them. Sarawak has so much to offer beyond tourism, and that is why it is very important for us. Besides contributing to the tourism receipt in the state, we believe the Bintulu-Singapore route will also encourage trade and investments between the two cities.”

Effective 7 November 2017, AirAsia will relocate operations at Singapore Changi Airport from Terminal 1 to the new state-of-the-art, fully-automated Terminal 4 to embrace the Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST).
