The AirAsia Waran Perjalanan Udara Awam (WPUA) Fun Run was
held today at Lake Likas Sports Complex Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Over 1,000 civil servants and their family participated in the fun run.
The Fun Run was flagged off by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Chairman, Sabah
Tourism Board; alongside Tuan Haji Mat Jaidin bin Hj Mohd, Assistant Permanent Secretary
Ministry of Youth and Sports Sabah and Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad.
Civil servants who joined the fun-filled morning also walked away with special AirAsia lucky draw prizes,
including flight tickets, merchandise as well as AirAsia BIG Points. Participants were entertained with
performances by AirAsia Allstars (AirAsia staff) from AirAsia’s Kota Kinabalu station and dance performance by Kumpulan Budayawan, a local dance troupe.
