Airline management spent an afternoon with 75 physically and mentally challenged children
KUALA LUMPUR, 2 AUGUST 2016
The management and Allstars (employees) of AirAsia X spent
a meaningful afternoon with 75 physically and mentally challenged children at the Persatuan
Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang Selangor recently.
Led by Benyamin Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X Berhad, about 20 Allstar
volunteers visited the home and spent an afternoon playing fun games, giving out gifts and duit raya
as well as treating the children to a scrumptious meal.
Benyamin said, “We hope that the children have enjoyed this afternoon with us as much as we did
organising it for them. Their innocence has inspired us to be a better person and a more responsible
corporate citizen. As we grow as the region’s largest long-haul low-cost airline, we should set this as
a constant reminder for us to stay humble and true.”
Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang Selangor is a multi-racial charity home housing 75
children with age ranging from 3 months to 26 years old who are facing physical and mental
challenges such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Blindness, Muteness, mental impairment and other
conditions. Most of the children came from underprivileged families who are unable to provide and
care for them. For more information on how you can help, log on to www.ppkkck.org.
