Led by Chief Executive Officer Benyamin Ismail, AirAsia X Berhad's management and employees visited Ampang Old Folks Home in Kuala Lumpur this morning to bring cheers to its elderly residents with Angpow distribution and gift hampers.
In conjunction with the Chinese New Year festivity, the management and employees of AirAsia X Berhad paid a visit to the elderly residents of Ampang Old Folks Home in Kuala Lumpur today.
Led by Benyamin Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X Berhad, the group distributed ang pow and gift hampers to the elderly residents while spending meaningful time with them in the morning.
Benyamin Ismail said, “We are very happy to be here today to visit the elderly residents of Ampang Old Folks Home who have so many life stories to share. Spending time with them has been very rewarding, we do hope that our little visit today have also brought them cheers during this Chinese New Year festivity. We are a strong believer in giving back to the communities we serves and we will strive to achieve a perfect balance between business and fulfilling our social responsibilities.”
Established in 1953, the Ampang Old Folks Home located in Ampang New Village is currently housing over 50 elderly residents aged 60 and above. The home takes care of senior citizens without immediate family members such as spouse or children.
