Effective 22nd September 2019 at 0001 hours (GMT+ 8), there will be no processing fee applied to new bookings made via AirAsia.com and AirAsia mobile app. Type of processing fee codes:

MALAYSIA DEPARTURE LEVY (MDL)


Dear Valued Partners,

From 1 September 2019, all bookings for flights departing from Malaysia will be subject to a departure levy, in accordance with a directive from the Malaysian government.

For destinations within Asean, the departure levy is RM8 for economy class and RM50 for business class and business suites. For those travelling beyond Asean, the departure levy is RM20 for economy class and RM150 for business class and business suites.

The departure levy will be collected by airlines including AirAsia on behalf of the government, and shall be itemised and reflected in the total airfare.

Passengers aged below 24 months, international transit passengers with a stopover time of less than 12 hours, crew on duty and travellers who book flights before the effective date are exempted from the departure levy.

NOTICE OF INCREMENT IN PASSENGER SERVICE CHARGE (“NOTICE”)

We would like to respectfully notify you about the increase in Passenger Service Charge (PSC) or known as Airport Tax from MYR 50.00 to MYR 73.00 per passenger

The increment will take immediate effect on 9 August 2019 at 00:00 hours KULLT. It will be imposed on all international routes from any Malaysia airports with the exception of international departure to ASEAN countries.

Trade partners who have made early bookings to fly out of Malaysia into any international routes (with the exception of ASEAN countries), will not be affected by the change of the PSC. However, any fresh bookings made after the effective date, new PSC charge will be imposed.

Fee Schedule: Malaysia - Regulatory Service Charge

Dear Valued Partners,

A Regulatory Service Charge (RSC) will be introduced at all Malaysian airport stations for bookings made from 1st May 2018 with immediate travel.

Rate chargeable is MYR 1.00 (inclusive GST) for both domestic and international flights outbound from any Malaysian airport.

REFUND: If guest does not travel, a refund claim on this fee must be submitted via e-Form within 6 months from the date of travel.

We're operating our international flights via Terminal 3: Soekarno Hatta International Airport

Soekarno Hatta International Airport

Dear Valued Partners,

AirAsia will relocate its international flights from Terminal 2E to Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) effective 22 January 2018 (03:00 GMT +7). All AirAsia domestic flights will remain at Terminal 2F.

Arriving as well as departing flight schedules will not be affected by the move.

AirAsia?s guests arriving at Terminal 2 with connecting international flights may proceed to Terminal 3 via complimentary Skytrain and bus shuttle services provided by the airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II.

We advise guests departing from Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to arrive 3 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure. For a seamless travel experience, we also recommend guests to conduct self check-in via airasia.com, and print their boarding pass before departing for the airport.

AirAsia?s check-in and baggage drop counters for all international flights will be located at counter D 14-18 in the Terminal 3's departure area.

We're operating via Terminal 4: Singapore Changi Airport

Effective 7 November 2017, all AirAsia flights to / from Singapore Changi Airport will operate from the new Terminal 4 (T4).

There are no changes to the flight schedules. Please be informed the new terminal is approximately a 10-minute drive from Terminal 1.

Guests can transfer between the 2 terminals by taxi or a free bus service. If you are using the MRT, please proceed to Terminal 2 Arrival Hall and take the free shuttle bus service to Terminal 4. The shuttle bus, which runs every 10 minutes, is available 24 hours 7 days a week.
