This policy is reinstated effective from 7 July 2020.
All guests (except infants) are allowed to carry on board two (2) pieces of cabin baggage comprising of either:
One (1) cabin baggage or one (1) laptop bag or one (1) handbag or one (1) small bag.
One (1) Cabin Baggage:
One (1) Laptop bag or one (1) handbag or one (1) small bag:
The total weight of both pieces must not exceed 7kg.
Applicable for AirAsia India (i5):
Due to airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on flights originating from Jammu or Srinagar airports.
If you need to carry more, we have a range of checked baggage allowances for you to pre-book. Checked baggage fees apply.
If you are flying to or from the United States, checked baggage is available to pre-book by pieces:
Checked baggage fees are lowest during initial flight booking. You can pre-book later via your BIG Member account or during web check-in at the normal rate. The fees at the airport are highest, so pre-book your checked baggage allowance in advance.
If you are flying with AirAsia India (i5), a checked baggage allowance of less than 20kg is included (until 31st March 2021).
If you're flying with Thai AirAsia (FD) or Thai AirAsia X (XJ), do take note of the prohibited items that you can or cannot bring in your checked and cabin bags.
