“airasia shop 3.3 Live Show” (“Contest”) is organised by AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd in collaboration with AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd (the “Organiser”) and shall be held from a period of one hour (1) hour commencing from 21:00 - 22:00 (GMT+8) on 3 March 2021 on the airasia Facebook. The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice. Unless an extended period is announced, any entries received after the last day of the Contest Period shall be disqualified. Any participation in the Contest during the extended period (if any) shall be regulated by these terms and conditions ("Contest Terms and Conditions"), which shall remain in full force and effect.

1. Eligibility

    1.1 The following persons are eligible to participate in the Contest (“Participant”):

    • individuals above the age of eighteen (18) years with a valid Identification Card/Passport at the time of participation of the Contest;
    • permanent employees and/or independent contractors of the Organiser (including its subsidiaries and related companies), including their respective immediate family members, meaning parents, spouses, children and siblings; and
    • representatives and/or agents (including advertising agents and contest management agents) of the Organiser, including their respective immediate family members, meaning parents, spouses, children and siblings.

    1.2 The Organiser shall reserve the right to exclude and/or disqualify participants who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria and/or who are in breach of the Contest Terms and Conditions.


SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

Promo Mechanics:

    1.3 Participants may enjoy discounts on selected brands and products during the live show.

    1.4 The additional RM50 off discount promo code (which will be announced during the Live Show) is only valid with a minimum spend of RM250. The promo code is applicable for storewide cart level, and buyers need to be a BIG member to use the Promo Code. Buyers will have to key in the Promo Code at the checkout page.

    1.5 The promo code is only valid until 23:59 (GMT+8) on 3 March 2021.

    1.6 The promo code is only valid for one time use.

2. Contest Mechanics and Prize

    2.1 Only Participants who adhere to the following contest mechanism (“Contest Mechanism”) are eligible to win the Contest:

    • During the Contest Period, the Participants shall provide the correct answers to the questions which will be delivered during the Live Show via the comment section of the Facebook post, when prompted by the Organiser.
    • The Contest is open to Participants from within the Klang Valley. For participants living outside Klang Valley who have been selected as Winners, prizes will only be delivered to a Klang Valley address. Should the Winner fail to provide a Klang Valley address for prize delivery, the Organiser reserves the right to select another winner.

    2.2 The prizes (“Prize”) for the Contest are:

3. Winner Selection, Announcement and Prize Collection

    3.1 The Winners will be announced on 3 March 2021 at 22:30pm GMT+8 or any other date as deemed fit by the Organiser (“Winner Announcement Date”).

    3.2 Nine (9) Winners will be chosen by the Organiser at its sole discretion to receive a free gift from the below list, which will include delivery. The Organiser reserves the right to change the prizes to other prizes of the same, higher or lesser value at any point of time without prior notice.

    3.3 Once the announcement is made, the selected Winners must private message AirAsia’s Facebook Page for further communication.

    3.4 The selected Winners may be contacted at any time deemed appropriate by the Organiser, via email, direct message or private message, or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the Organiser.

    3.5 Failure of the announced Winner to inform the Organiser his/her acceptance of the Prize within three (3) days after the Winner Announcement Date shall constitute a rejection by the Winner and the Organiser reserves the right to award the Prize to another selected Participant.

    3.6 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Prize is only claimable individually by the Winners. The Organiser may require proof of identity of the Winner but nothing herein obliges the Organiser under any circumstance to enquire, ascertain or investigate the identity of any person(s).

    3.7 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute or replace the Prize in the event the Prize offered is not available.

    3.8 The Prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

    3.9 A Participant is allowed to submit multiple entries for the Contest but only one (1) entry will be considered for the Prize in respect of the same Participant.

    3.10 The decision of the Organiser in relation to every aspect of the Contest, including but not limited to the type of Prize and Winner is final, conclusive and binding and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained.

4. Liability and Privacy Notice

    4.1 Participants and/or their heirs shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents (including death) resulting from their participation in the Contest, event, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes and agree to release and hold the Organizer free and harmless of any liability.

    4.2 Entries may not in any way harm the Organiser, its affiliates, its agents and/or the airasia shop and/or AirAsia brand.

    4.3 Participants may not upload, or post, any material that contain software viruses or any other computer codes, links to malicious sites or unethical downloads, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the use of any software or devices.

    4.4 Participants may not use the Contest for the expression of political or religious ideas, pornography, obscenity, vulgarity, hatred, bigotry, racism or gratuitous violence.

    4.5 The Organiser has the right to refuse any entry which contains material which is offensive, injurious, obscene, vindictive, indecent, immoral, aggressive, sexually oriented, racist, derisive, slanderous, discriminatory, or in any other way not in line with good taste and decency, or which the Organizer deems in its sole discretion to be otherwise unacceptable.

    4.6 The Organiser retains the right to exclude Participants from participating in the contest and to delete entries if these are not in line or in conflict with these Contest Terms and Conditions.

    4.7 The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision would be entertained.

    4.8 All other costs and expenses associated with this Contest and the Prize including, all transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in the Contest and to redeem the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s) and/or Winner(s).

    4.9 If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser and which prevents the Organiser from complying with these terms and conditions, the Organiser will not be held liable for any failure to perform or for any delay in performing its obligations.

    4.10 The Organiser shall bear no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Winner and Participant(s) in connection with this Contest, the promotion of this Contest or the use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

    4.11 The Organiser shall reserve the rights to use the names and/or photographs of the Participants as materials for the purposes of advertising, trade and/or publicity such as adding or editing graphic elements of the photos, without any prior notice to the Participants. The Participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the materials.

    4.12 By participating in the Contest, the Participants hereby give their consent to and authorise the Organiser to disclose their particulars to third party service providers and/or partners engaged by the Organizer for purposes of the Contest and/or any customer survey in understanding Participants' behaviour.

    4.13 Entries may not conflict with applicable law or regulations, or the rights of third parties, including without limitation featuring people who have not consented to their image being entered and featuring copyright protected works or names, logos and registered trademarks without the right holder’s consent.

    4.14 By joining this Contest, the Organiser reserves the right to process the information provided by the Participant for any future marketing activities and those relevant to it according to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) (2010).

5. Other Terms and Conditions

    5.1 The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision would be entertained.

    5.2 By participating in this Contest, the Participants agree to be bound by these Contest Terms and Conditions and the decision of the Organiser.

    5.3 The terms and conditions for this Contest may be revised from time to time at the Organiser’s sole discretion without prior notice. Without prejudice to the foregoing, do note that the Contest may be withdrawn in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside the Organiser’s reasonable control, and the Contest may be withdrawn or suspended in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise the integrity of the Contest or the Organiser.

  5. The Organiser will only accept transactions which fulfill the Campaign Mechanics. Transactions which are incomplete or fail to abide by the Campaign Mechanics will be automatically disqualified without any further notice.

You agree to hold harmless, defend and fully indemnify us from and against all losses (including loss of opportunity and consequential loss arising therewith), damages, expenses and all third party actions, proceedings, claims, demands, costs (including without prejudice to the generality of this provision, the legal cost of each other, personal injuries, death, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation), awards and damages that may arise as a result of this Campaign.


SNAP Marketing Campaign Terms & Conditions

Introduction

  • This SNAP Marketing campaign (‘Campaign’) is organised by AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd (‘AACom, we our, us’) which is available for booking within airasia.com (‘Website’) that is operated and maintained by us.
  • This Campaign will be running on a weekly basis for a limited time until further notice and allows you to accept and to book flight and hotel under one booking number (“SNAP Booking”).
  • This Campaign is to promote local destinations in Malaysia and to offer you a chance to stay at locally owned hotels at irresistible discounted prices.
  • You acknowledge that we are only a distributor of the SNAP Booking. The flight and hotel products and/or services shall be fulfilled and supplied by the relevant parties.
  • This Campaign is governed by the terms and conditions set out hereunder (“Specific Terms and Conditions”) and shall be a legally binding document between you and us. By completing a SNAP Booking, you agree to be bound by this Specific Terms and Conditions, the SNAP Terms and Conditions, Terms of Carriage as well as Term of Use and Privacy Statement of the Website, which may be amended from time to time.

Specific Terms and Conditions

  • Discount prices quoted on the Website are per person, which include all-in return flight fares and hotel stay which may vary by the number of days booked, date and availability.
  • Discount prices quoted on any SNAP promotional materials are per person on twin sharing basis, which include all-in return flight fares and hotel stay subject to the specific number of days and hotel displayed therein.
  • You must book a minimum of two nights to be eligible for the discount prices quoted on the Website. You agree and understand that the discount is applicable for the first two nights of your SNAP Booking only. Original room rates will be charged for additional night(s).
  • This Campaign is applicable for one room only per booking. Eg. If you book for four persons with two rooms, the discount price will only be applicable to one room only.
  • The Campaign is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is subject to availability. Once the number of bookings has reached the total limit, the offer prices shall be in accordance to the retail rate.
  • Additional restrictions such as minimum stay, blackout dates, room availability, type of room and advance purchase may apply.
  • All taxes must be paid at the time of purchase unless stated otherwise. Additional fees are applicable for purchase of ancillary products including but not limited to checked baggage, in-flight meals and hotel related add-ons.

In the event of any inconsistency between the terms in this Specific Terms and Conditions and other provisions or materials, this Specific Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  • We reserve the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions herein and/or withdraw the Campaign, or substitute or replace the Campaign with another product or program of equivalent value from time to time without any prior notice.
