- In our third year’s efforts, we raised RM300,300 through the relaunch of the iconic #AirAsiaMAKNA pilot and cabin crew t-shirt collection.

- We scaled Mount Kinabalu once again with 4 Allstars from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China alongside 16 other climbers from MAKNA through the Klimb Kinabalu expedition.
Coined '#AirAsiaMAKNA: Rebel with a cause', the campaign was dedicated to all the fighters out there to celebrate their strength and courage. As part of our initiative, we brought back the limited edition AirAsia pilot and cabin crew designed t-shirts that are available for both adults and children. Each t-shirt is sold at only RM30 and proceeds will be directed to our long-term beneficiary, MAKNA.
This year also marked a meaningful partnership as FashionValet joined us in our journey to create cancer awareness and raise funds for underprivileged patients. As Malaysia’s leading online shopping platform, our t-shirts were exclusively sold on their website.
The collection can still be found on MAKNA’s website and on AirAsia’s OURSHOP platform.
We also ran an Instagram contest in conjunction with the campaign to pick a monthly winner until January 2018. Participants stood a chance to win a pair of flights each month to any AirAsia Berhad destinations of their choice by simply wearing the t-shirt with their best fighter move or pose and hashtag #AirAsiaMAKNA on Instagram.
