Wuhan
Nicknamed as the ‘Chicago of Asia’ for its role as a major transportation hub as well as communication centre for central China, Wuhan is home to over 10 million people, making it the most populous city in the Hubei Province. But beyond the usual allures of the huge metropolis lies a colourful history and traditions that date back to 223 BC, when Wuhan was formed from the conglomeration of three districts which are Hanyang, Hankou and Wuchang.
