The capital of the province with the same name, Krabi is your gateway to a paradise island holiday. But wait, there’s more! Besides the main draw of sun, sea and sand, Krabi has also earned a reputation of being a top-notch destination amongst tourists for its wonderful national parks, cave monasteries, temples and sacred archaeology.

Clear waters coupled with soft fine sand, Krabi’s beaches guarantee a day of sheer fun in the sun. Ao Nang is the most convenient and centrally located but a short drive out is the less touristy Nopparat Beach, where the sands stretch out to an island during low tide. Hop on a longtail boat to the nearby beaches of Railay and Phra Nang, where more beachy fun awaits!
Enjoy the simple life of southern Thailand with a visit to the charming village island of Koh Klang. A tuk-tuk ride is the best way to see and experience the colourful wooden houses, blooming paddy fields, smiling local kids and endless greenery.
Khao Khanab Nam
The journey to Khao Khanab Nam is an experience of its own. A longtail boat via Krabi River will lead to two limestone peaks, Krabi’s natural landmarks opening up to a cave that features magnificent stalagmites and stalactites.
Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua)
The sprawling complex comprises the main temple, a pagoda that honours the Goddess of Mercy, a library, and little shops. If you have the stamina, climb the 1,237 steps that lead to the Khao Kaeo Peak where apart from the amazing 360-degree views of the town, the shore and the islands in the distance, you can also view a replica of Buddha’s footprint, the Pagoda of the Holy Relic, as well as a huge statue of Buddha.
Perfect for families and those seeking a tranquil island holiday away from over-commercialism. Koh Lanta packs a quiet charm of its own, with attractions such as the Mu Koh Lanta National Park, the old town of Koh Lanta where elements of Chinese, Muslim and sea gypsies co-exist harmoniously, plus stunning beaches all around.
